Calea Victoriei becomes a space where nature is reborn in the urban landscape, especially during the evening. The sculpturesque instalation Urban Garden recreates an oasis of nature in the center of Bucharest, with the purpose of waking the awareness of the impact every indivudual has in society over the fragile balance between nature and the urban environment.

Misha Diaconu (n. 1981), represented by Kulterra Gallery, is considered one of the most important metal sculptors of her generation, while being present in the public space as well as in private collections over the country and abroad, mainly with large scale works. Her sculptures take on human introspection and female sensitivity, without using genre clichés, offering a contemplative note via the geometrized constructions of the human shape, while keeping the expresiveness of the movement and attitude of the characters in which the feminine and the masculine have the chance to meet and examine one another from equal standpoints. The aesthetic approach through constructivist shapes, omitting the conturing of the face features and underlining the compositions through the characters’ shown movement, connects the artist to a universal language that is still too little explored in sculpture.

One Night Gallery is a cultural and eductional platform which acts mainly in the new media art space, with the purpose of supporting and promoting the Romanian contemporary art through new media. Through the proposed exhibition formats, the artists are dared to use new digital storytelling tools, integrating Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Video Mapping or Artificial Intelligence in their projects.

One Night Gallery projects underline the application of technology in the creative industries and explore non-conventional spaces for the regeneration of the urban tissue and the revival of the heritage buildings.
