The passage of time is an illusion. At the beginning of the 20th century, thanks to Einstein, we found out that time does not pass and that the distinction between past, present, and future is deceptive. Passionate about this topic, the team of Collectif Coin imagined a new style of visual representation: Abstract, a 90-pixel matrix in which each pixel moves along its vertical axis. In a 20-minute loop, which combines light, sound, and movement, Abstract reveals its source of inspiration: relativity.
Collectif Coin is an art-lab situated in Grenoble (France) and its purpose is to create shows and small and large–sized installations. It focuses on interdisciplinary creation, with a particular interest in digital arts.
